This is late 1970's or early 1980's Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche plaid wool skirt is such a timeless classic. YSL used plaid in innovative ways throughout his career. He found ways to elevate traditional wool skirts by pairing them with luxe silk blouses and menswear style jackets.

This vintage skirt is in blue, red, green and yellow plaid with pretty blue ribbon trim. This slim fit wrap style skirt has hidden side pockets, and attached sash style belt, and it closes with hooks and eyes.
